My name is Isard Haasakker, and I've been a self-employed SAP consultant since April 1st 2000 (no joke).
I've seen it all when implementing and developing SAP ERP systems.
Let me tell you. It's been quite the ride so far!
I've always been a non-conformist and a nerd when learning new SAP skills. I'm always looking for the latest tools and techniques to make my contributions to implementations or support efficient. And the SAP world is constantly evolving, and it's a never-ending journey of learning new things.
And I can thank SAP for me being able to pay my mortgage.
Being a non-conformist provides a largely conservative SAP world with a breath of fresh air. Getting stuck in the same old ways of doing things is easy, but thinking outside the box can lead to some innovative solutions.
Plus, it's always good to have a different perspective on things. It can help to find new ways to solve old problems. And let's be honest; it can get pretty dull if you repeatedly do the same things, especially when it does not bring you any results and you know there are better ways to solve problems.
Being a non-conformist can bring new ideas and energy and help keep things interesting.
Being an SAP nerd is the best, I'm telling you. It makes building a career in SAP ERP so much more enjoyable. There's always something new to learn, new technologies to explore and new challenges to tackle. It's a constantly evolving field. You will benefit from staying curious. You want to stay behind in this field.
Finding a solution to a tricky SAP problem or implementing something more efficiently is always satisfying.
It's plain cool to impress people with your SAP knowledge.
I recommend everyone to consider becoming an SAP nerd too.
It's a career choice that will always be exciting and in demand.
I'm also really passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. If you're interested in making a career in SAP ERP, I'm happy to share my experiences and tips. Trust me; it's a challenging but rewarding field to be in.
So, don't hesitate to message me and let's chat about all things SAP.
